In Act 1 Scene 1 Demetrius dumps Helena for Hermia. Helena still loves Demetrius but he don't love her. Demetrius wants to go out with Hermia. Helena and Hermia were best friends but after all that happen I guess not.Egues wants his daughter Hermia to marry Demetrius, she says no. Egues says if u don't marry Demetrius by Theseus wedding she would have to be killed or never to see anyone again. Hermia wants to marry Lysander but her father don't want her to because he thinks Lysander is a player. Hermia and Lysander decides to leave Athens and get married. Helena finds out their plan and go back and tells Demetrius.
In Act 1 Scene 2 Bottom, Quince, Snout, Flute, Straveling and Snug are actors to prepare a play for Theseus wedding. We find out that Bottom is a character that think he runs everything. He try to direct everyone and hes not the director.
